Arctic is one of the most important and competitive refrigerators manufacturers in Central Europe. In 2006 it assigned CASSIOLI the feasibility study, design, deployment and maintenance of a new automated warehouse. After analyzing manufacturing processes and factory requirements, we proposed several alternatives, all of them compatible with technical and economic criteria. Completing the 4 rack feeders storage system are two shuttle systems, which manage incoming and outgoing load units (europallets and eurocontainers).
Optimization of plant’s handling capacity is warranted by CASSIOLI’s software system which, connected to the company’s host, processes pick lists for orders creation and updates stock at every storing and issuing operation.
